Davendra (Dave) K. Agarwal
Petroleum Geophysicist

Mr. Agarwal is president of Interactive Interpretation & Training Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in the management of seismic data acquisition and processing. He has over 40 years of industry experience and consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas seimic data processing and interpretation in the international petroleum sector.

Among his many consulting assignments, Mr. Agarwal has conducted on-site feasibility studies for acquiring and processing seismic data in Afghanistan, China, India, and Iraq. Prior to founding Interactive Interpretation in 1988, Mr. Agarwal was manager of geophysical operations for Cities Service Company, where he was responsible for quality control of all international geophysical operations in various countries in Africa, Europe, the Far East, and South Asia. Earlier, as data processing manager for Geophysical Service Inc. (a subsidiary of Texas Intsruments), Mr. Agarwal worked with seismic crews in Iran, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the U.K. and processed seismic data from various countries in and around the Middle East.

Mr. Agarwal holds a B.Sc. in geology and geophysicis from the Indian Institute of Technology (Kharagpur) as well as D.I.C. and M.Sc. degrees in geophysics from Imperial College (London). He is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, the Geological Society of Houston, the European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers, and the Houston Geological Society. In addition to English, Mr. Agarwal is fluent in Hindi and Farsi.

Martin C.T. Anderson
Power Generation and Energy Development Specialist

Mr. Anderson is president of Bridgestone Associates Ltd., an energy consulting company specializing in energy audits and the evaluation of cogeneration systems throughout the world. He consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of energy project management and the design and evaluation of petroleum-fired power generation projects.

As a consultant, Mr. Anderson has managed over 150 evaluations for industrial, commercial, and institutional clients; identified sites and pursued development of numerous merchant power projects in the United States; and prepared business, marketing, and strategic plans for numerous energy-related companies and organizations in both the domestic and international sectors.

Prior to founding Bridgestone Associates in 1991, Mr. Anderson held executive positions with Bonneville Pacific Corporation, Cogeneration Partners of America, and various affiliates of Westinghouse Corporation.

Mr. Anderson holds a B.S. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Brighton Polytechnic (Brighton, England) and an MBA from Widener University. He is a past president of the MidAtlantic Power Supply Association, a member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, a senior member of the Cogeneration & Competitive Power Institute of the AEE, and a member of the Association of Energy Services Professionals.

Robert J. Bell, PhD, CPG
Petroleum Geologist

Dr. Bell is a Certified Petroleum Geologist who consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of petroleum exploration and reservoir engineering.

Dr. Bell has more than 40 years experience in the exploration sector of the oil and gas industry with particular focus on the Miocene, Oligocene, and Cretaceous trends of the Gulf Coast region of the United States. Assignments include district geologist at Sun Oil, district geologist at Marr Company, division geologist at Samedon Oil Corporation, district manager at Sunmark Exploration, and regional supervisor at Oryx Energy Company.

Dr. Bell is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the American Institute of Professional Geologists, and the Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists, as well as the Geological Societies of Houston, Lafayette (Louisiana), and Oklahoma City. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in geology from the University of Oklahoma and a Ph.D. in business administration from Pacific Western University.

Dan A. Billman, PG
Petroleum Geologist

Mr. Billman, a registered Professional Geologist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of reservoir assessment and field operations. He is president and principal geologist at Billman Geologic Consultants, Inc.

Mr. Billman has more than 15 years experience in field operations, including sample analysis of rock cuttings, rock core analysis, electric log analysis, and well completion recommendations. In assignments for various independent oil and gas operators, Mr. Billman has conducted numerous evaluations of drilling locations in Paleozoic formations of the Appalachian and Illinois basins. He has also completed geologic reviews of oil and gas prospects in the Appalachian, Anadarko, Black Warrior, Delaware/Permian, East Texas, Fort Worth, and Illinois basins.

Mr. Billman is past president of the Pittsburgh Association of Petroleum Geologists and is also a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Society of Professional Well Log Analysts, the Independent Oil & Gas Association of Pennsylvania (a cooperating association of the IPAA), the Appalachian Geological Society, the Ohio Geological Society, and the Pittsburgh Geological Society. Barbara J. Bordelon, Esq., CPL
Landman and Legal Specialist

Ms. Bordelon, a licensed attorney and Certified Professional Landman, has more than 25 years experience in the energy industry. She consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of lease acquisition, marketing, finance, and regulatory affairs.

Prior to establishing her own practice focusing on oil and gas operations, Ms. Bordelon was general counsel and corporate secretary at Statoil Energy Inc., a U.S.-based, integrated energy company owned by Statoil, the national oil company of Norway. (Upon its cessation of U.S. operations in 2000, the 18 subsidiaries of Statoil Energy owned and operated thousands of natural gas wells in the eastern U.S. and marketed gas and electricity nationwide.) Ms. Bordelon also served as general counsel to Statoil Exploration (US) Inc., a Statoil affiliate specializing in deepwater operations in the Gulf of Mexico and managed the land departments of the Statoil affiliates in Houston and Washington. Earlier in her career she served as in-house attorney and landman at Eastern States Exploration Company, Transco Exploration Company, and Chevron USA, as well as associate attorney at the Texas General Land Office.

Ms. Bordelon holds a J.D. degree from the University of Texas and a B.A. degree in government, also from the University of Texas. She is a member of the Houston Association of Professional Landmen and a member of the bar in the Commonwealths of Pennsylvania and Virginia and the State of Texas.

William A. Bruha, PE
Drilling and Production Specialist

Mr. Bruha, a registered Petroleum Engineer, is president of Energy International Consultants. He has over 40 years experience in all aspects of the upstream sector of the petroleum industry and consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of drilling and production operations, both onshore and offshore.

Mr. Bruha began his career as a project engineer with Shell Oil Company in 1953 and rose to positions of increasing responsibility, including regional drilling superintendent for the Gulf of Mexico, Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi, where he supervised operations on 10 offshore rigs. Subsequently, he was drilling manager for Transco Exploration Company, responsible for planning and budgeting, environmental and regulatory compliance, and the engineering and execution of all of Transco's drilling operations, onshore and offshore, throughout the United States. In 1980, Transco promoted Mr. Bruha to the position of drilling vice president. In this assignment he managed an offshore base in the Gulf of Mexico and supervised the operation of 17 rigs, drilling up to 65 offshore wells annually.

As president of Energy International Consultants since 1992, Mr. Bruha has evaluated and planned production operations in the Gulf of Mexico as well as in Argentina, Armenia, Ecuador, China, offshore Mexico, the Persian Gulf, Russia, and offshore Venezuela.

Mr. Bruha is a member of the International Association of Drilling Contractors and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He holds a B.S. degree in civil engineering from the Michigan College of Mining and Technology and has completed graduate courses in geology and engineering at the University of Texas and Washington University (St. Louis).

Valdis Budrevics
Petroleum Development Specialist

Mr. Budrevics has more than 20 years of international experience in the petroleum industry. He consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of exploration and production licensing and in government-to-business relations.

Mr. Budrevics began his career in 1972 as the chief of a mineral prospecting crew in Quebec for Campbell Chibougamau Mines Ltd. He joined the Amoco Corporation in 1974 as an exploration geologist in Saskatchewan and was thereafter assigned to positions of increasing responsibility in Africa, China, Europe, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Middle East, rising to president and country manager of Amoco Latvia Petroleum Company. Since 1999, he has served as president of Peritus Associates Inc. and director of Labyrinth Consulting Services Inc.

Mr. Budrevics is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists, and the Society for Sedimentary Geology. He holds a B.S. degree in geology from the University of Toronto, an M.S. in geology from the University of Manitoba, and has pursued post graduate studies at McGill University.

Kalyan Ghosh
Petroleum Geologist

Mr. Ghosh, a petroleum geologist and geological stratigrapher, consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of oil and gas prospect generation and wellsite supervision of both onshore and offshore wells, specializing in the international sector.

Mr. Ghosh has more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the implementation of oil and gas projects. His expertise includes horizontal, high-angle, vertical, and re-entry drilling; wire-line logging; mud logging; logging while drilling; seismic interpretation; log interpretation; field, structural, cross-section, and isopachous mapping; and micropaleontology analysis for correlation of depositional environments.

He began his career as a geological stratigrapher with Saga Petroleum in 1976 and has subsequently completed assignments for Odeco (New Orleans) as an offshore development geologist; Amerada Hess as a production geologist; Pan Canadian Petroleum, where he recommended leasing and drilling sites onshore Texas; the Oil and Natural Gas Commission of India as superintendent geologist for field studies; Mobil (now ExxonMobil) as wellsite geologist offshore Nigeria; Baker Hughes as geologic advisor in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Venezuela; BHP Petroleum as wellsite geologist offshore Trinidad; and ConocoPhillips as wellsite geologist at the Petrozuata heavy-oil project onshore Venezuela.

Mr. Ghosh holds a B.S. degree in micropaleontology from the University of London and an M.S. in geology from the University of Gauhati (India).

Donald I. Hertzmark, PhD
Energy Economics Specialist

Dr. Hertzmark, an economist with over 20 years experience in the international energy sector, consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of oil and gas pricing and energy economics. He is an adjunct professor of economics at Georgetown University and manager of Southeast Asian Consulting for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Dr. Hertzmark began his professional career in 1973 and has since held economics-related positions with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Solar Research Institute, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok.

As an independent consultant since 1985, Dr. Hertzmark has carried out assignments in the petroleum sector concerned with product pricing and industry restructuring in the United States and in Australia, Egypt, Estonia, Hungary, Indonesia, Latvia, Philippines, Russia, Trinidad, Ukraine, and West Africa. He has also taught short courses on energy economics and finance in Bulgaria, China, Cote d'Ivoire, Estonia, France, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Latvia, Morocco, Netherlands, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, and Thailand.

Jim T. Hu
Petroleum Geophysicist

Mr. Hu consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of seismic data interpretation, log correlation, and reserve estimation. He has over 25 years experience in the application of geophysical techniques to assess the development of oil and gas reservoirs, with specialized knowledge of the U.S. Gulf Coast and the Gulf of Mexico.

Mr. Hu began his professional career with Mobil Corporation as a senior geophysicist, evaluating lease-sale acreage on the outer continental shelf (OCS) in the Gulf of Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico. Prior to organizing his own consultancy in 2001, he also worked as a staff geophysicist or advising geophysicist with Cenergy Exploration Company screening the Gulf Coast's Eocene-Miocene producing trends, with Elf Aquitaine Company generating prospects for OCS bids, with Prairie Producing Company generating prospects for OCS bids, and with Unocal Corporation where he coordinated a team of geophysicists recommending acreage acquisition in the Gulf of Mexico.

Recent assignments as an independent consultant have included validation of gas reserves through interpretation of 3-D seismic data in the Mesozoic thrust belt of the North Tarim Basin in China for Shell Oil Company and project evaluation in the Bohai and East China Sea for Newfield Exploration Company.

Mr. Hu holds a B.S. degree in geology from National Taiwan University, an M.S. degree in physics from the University of North Carolina, and is a Ph.D. candidate at Columbia University where he was a Henry Krumb fellow.

H. James Huebner, PE

Mr. Huebner is a registered Petroleum Engineer and worldwide expert in oil and gas field operations, with over 40 years experience in the industry. He consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of drilling and completion and in the design, startup, and operation of production facilities, including those located in remote producing areas.

In the course of his career, Mr. Huebner has worked for over 30 years in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and South America, where he has conducted operations in 18 of the world's 300 largest oil fields. His professional positions include field production engineer with Mene Grande Oil Company in Venezuela, district engineer with Oasis Oil Company of Libya, chief engineer with Occidental of Libya, drilling and production manager with Petromer Trend in Indonesia, and field manager with Asamera South Sumatra Ltd. He has also carried out consulting assignments in Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Libya, Russia, Turkey, the U.K., and Venezuela.

Mr. Huebner is a member emeritus of the Houston Geological Society and also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the Texas Society of Professional Engineers. Jack A. Krug, PhD, PE
Drilling and Production Specialist

Dr. Krug, a registered Professional Engineer, has over 30 years experience in the design and management of drilling and production operations. He consults with Petroleum Equities in the drilling and completion of geopressured wells and wells sited in overthrust regions.

Dr. Krug began his career in 1970 as a consulting engineer with H.K. van Poollen & Associates. He was subsequently employed by British Petroleum (Alaska) Inc., where he was responsible for onsite-supervision of BP's operations in the Prudhoe Bay Field and for interpretation of petrophysical data for all of BP's Alaskan wells. Dr. Krug next worked for Anschutz (Canada) Exploration Ltd., where he supervised the drilling of Anschutz's offshore geopressured wells. As district engineering manager with Petro-Lewis Corporation, he managed drilling and completion operations in Appalachia, Canada, Louisiana-Texas onshore, Mississippi onshore, and the Gulf of Mexico.

As an independent consultant, Dr. Krug has prepared well designs and supervised the drilling, completion, and testing of deep exploration wells in the Overthrust Belt of the Rocky Mountain Region. He has also managed projects for Danish Oil and Gas, which included drilling and completion of deep geothermal wells and large-diameter storage wells in salt domes. For Nerco Oil & Gas Inc., Dr. Krug managed drilling and workover operations onshore and offshore Louisiana and Texas, including the drilling of geopressured gas wells to depths greater than 18,500 ft. Since 1990, Dr. Krug has managed numerous petroleum-development projects in Kazakhstan and Russia.

Dr. Krug holds P.E., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in petroleum engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers, and the Society of Professional Well Log Analysts.

F. Greg Lamberson

Mr. Lamberson consults with Petroleum Equities in all phases of project management of upstream petroleum facilities. He has more than 25 years experience in both the domestic and international sectors in the planning, design, engineering, and construction of pipelines, storage distribution systems, and near-shore marine structures.

Mr. Lamberson has acted as construction manager, project manager, or operations manager for numerous facilities contractors, including Willbros West Africa Inc. in Chad and Cameroon; Parsons Energy and Chemical Group in Bolivia, Brazil, Russia, and Venezuela; and Willbros International Inc. in the Caribbean, Kuwait, Latin America, West Africa, and Yemen.

Since establishing his own consultancy in 2001, Mr. Lamberson’s clients have included BP, Brunel Energy, Parsons E&C, Phillips (now ConocoPhillips), ExxonMobil, Willbros Engineering, and Willbros International on projects in Alaska, Canada, China, Indonesia, the Middle East, Russia, and West Africa.

Mark R. Landt
Petroleum Negotiator and Landman

Mr. Landt consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of asset management, land management, and international negotiations. He has over 25 years experience in the domestic and international sectors of the petroleum industry.

Prior to founding his own consultancy, Mr. Landt was employed by Atlantic Richfield Company from 1976 to 2000. At ARCO, he held positions of increasing responsibility including regional land manager for South Texas and South Louisiana, district land manager for the outer continental shelf and North Slope, vice president for land and marketing at ARCO Western Energy, and commercial exploration manager for ARCO-International Exploration.

In the course of his career, Mr. Landt negotiated purchase agreements for Tenneco’s California assets, ORYX’s Midway Sunset assets, Amerada Hess’s Alaska assets, and the successful joint bid with Sonat for TXO’ assets in the Arkoma Basin. He also negotiated numerous agreements for continued drilling with Anadarko Petroleum and Union Texas Petroleum, initiated acreage trades with BP Amoco, and managed international negotiations for exploration programs in Africa, Eurasia, and the Middle East.

Mr. Landt holds a B.B.A. degree in petroleum and land management from the University of Oklahoma and is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators, and the Dallas Association of Petroleum Landmen.

James B. Lyon

Mr. Lyon is an independent consultant specializing in petroleum geophysics with over 30 years experience in the domestic and international sectors. He consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of geophysical processing and interpretation.

Mr. Lyon began his career as a geophysicist with Texas Instruments, where he managed projects throughout the U.S. and Europe as well as in Algeria, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Iran, Kuwait, Peru, and Venezuela. Subsequently, he was area manager for Seismograph Service Corporation, vice president at Pexcon International, U.S. manager for Sigma Geophysical, and vice president of operations at Geoquest Exploration. As an independent consultant, Mr. Lyon has conducted geophysical mapping in offshore Australia, China, Congo, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Korea, Malaysia, offshore Mexico, offshore New Zealand, Northern Ireland, offshore Oman, Philippines, Russia, onshore and offshore Tanzania, Turkey, and Tunisia, as well as the East Texas Basin and the U.S. Gulf Coast, both onshore and offshore.

Frank C. Mabry, CPG
Petroleum Geologist

Mr. Mabry, a Certified Petroleum Geologist with over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry, consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of wellsite geology, prospect generation, and reserves evaluation.

Mr. Mabry's broad-based experience includes hands-on assignments as roughneck and workover/completion technician as well as professional assignments as onsite geologist. He has served as wellsite geologist for more than 90 horizontal wells in the Austin Chalk Trend in Louisiana and Texas; for numerous onshore vertical wells throughout the Permian Basin in Texas and New Mexico, the Sabine Uplift in Louisiana, and the Niagaran Reef Trend in Michigan; and for offshore wells in the Louisiana and Texas portions of the Gulf of Mexico.

His assignments include positions with major independents, including Atlantic Richfield and Standard Oil of Indiana as well as oil service companies, including Baker Exlog and Halliburton.

Mr. Mabry is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Society of Independent Earth Scientists. He holds a B.S. degree in geology from Lamar University (Beaumont). In addition to fluency in English, Mr. Mabry has a functional knowledge of German, Russian, and Spanish.

Mr. Rubsamen, a Registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas, has over 40 years experience in petroleum engineering. He consults with Petroleum Equities in all aspects of drilling operations, both onshore and offshore.

Mr. Rubsamen began his professional career in 1955 with Chevron Oil Company as a drilling and completion engineer, conducting operations in Mississippi and the south Louisiana onshore and offshore. Subsequently, he was a supervisory drilling engineer with Tenneco Oil Company, where he managed operations in the Louisiana and Texas offshore.

As president of Ernest B. Rubsamen Jr. & Associates Inc. since 1966, Mr. Rubsamen has served as a consulting petroleum engineer, supervising offshore drilling in the Bahamas and the Gulf of Mexico as well as onshore drilling in California, Florida, Louisiana, the Rocky Mountain region, and Texas.

Mr. Rubsamen is a member of the American Petroleum Institute and the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He earned a B.S. degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University.

Mr. Sheely is a petroleum geologist with over 25 years experience in international exploration. He consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of computerized geologic mapping and evaluation of new exploration ventures.

Until electing to take early retirement in 2000, Mr. Sheely was a career employee of Marathon Oil Company. His assignments included exploration geologist in Indonesia; advanced geologist in Singapore; area supervisor for Marathon's Far East region; staff geologist to the international vice president for exploration, where he acted as liason for U.K. North Sea and European exploration projects; and senior geologist in the select projects group, where he evaluated new ventures in Brazil and Southeast Asia.

Mr. Sheely holds a B.A. degree in geology from the College of William & Mary (Virginia) and an M.S. in geology from Bowling Green State University (Ohio). He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Houston Geological Society.

Donald E. Smith
Petroleum Geophysicist

Mr. Smith consults with Petroleum Equities in the areas of prospect generation and reservoir characterization. He has over 20 years experience involving the analysis and evaluation of geological and geophysical data to identify oil and gas prospects.

Mr. Smith's corporate experience includes assignments with Amoco Production Company supervising both domestic and foreign exploration surveys. His consulting experience includes assignments involving reservoir characterization in the United States and offshore Africa.

Mr. Smith is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the American Association of Physics Teachers. He holds a B.S. degree in geology from Indiana University and an M.S. degree in geophysics from Ohio University.
